3 Ways to wear...the Midi Dress

By Libby Springer
on February 02, 2019

Midi dress...hits below the knee but above the ankle and we hear so many women ask how to wear it!

Midi dressed are universally flattering. Even if you are on the shorter side, you can get away with wearing midi dresses! (As long as it hits above the ankle)

We styled our twist front midi dress three ways. In the first look, we have the dress paired with wedge espadrilles for a casual yet somewhat dressy look.

In the second look, we dressed it up and made it office appropriate even, adding nude sandals and a black blazer. This is also perfect for a wedding or other dressy occasion.

In the last look, we took it to cooler weather and paired it with grey booties and a denim jacket (jacket restock coming soon - FYI!).

We love that the midi dress is so flattering and can be worn multiple ways! What is your favorite look of the three shown here?

3 Ways to Wear...the Leopard Maxi

I know that for many of us (especially if you live in Fishers, where our store is located), we are just now experiencing the true winter weather! (Snow, single digit temps, etc). But in the fashion industry, spring arrivals are HERE and alive!

But here's the thing - you can wear some of these spring styles right now (not just on vacation!). This leopard print maxi is the perfect example! Let us show you three ways to wear it (a couple of which could be worn now)!

This max has adjustable straps, and pockets, and with a simple and flowy fit it's perfect for the warmer months, or even to throw on as a bathing suit cover up. Pair it with a pair of your fave sandals or flip flops.

Add a jean jacket for the cooler temps. You can pair with sandals (pictured here) or with boots/booties or slip-on tennis shoes!

Take your summer dress into fall and winter by pairing it with booties and a leather jacket. Voila! Instant versatility!

The leopard dress is available online and in stores - in both brown and grey. (Brown pictured in photos here). How will YOU wear yours?!

3 Ways to Wear it - Shirt Dress

Another fave - 3 ways to wear it post!

This week we are featuring the striped shirt dress we have available online and in store! Did you know shirt dresses aren't just for the office? You can do so many things with it! We will show you three ways to wear it below - and then we want to know - how would YOU wear it?!

The shirt dress is a great staple piece for your closet, and we love the vertical stripes on this one! Wear it with nude heels, or nude sandals in the spring/summer. Pair it with simple jewelry since it has a bolder color scheme.

Fall time or winter to spring transition? No problem! Throw a denim jacket over it and a pair of booties! Again, keep the booties a neutral color since the dress has a bold design/color.

We love the color of this golden mustard cardigan with this dress! It's not the perfect match - but it brings out the yellows and oranges in the dress! We paired it with booties here but you could do the heels or sandals with this look too!

OK your turn. How would YOU wear it?!

Office Wear Done Right!

By Libby Springer

We get a lot of requests for "work wear" or "office wear". We know how it goes - it's even better if you can double that work wear and use it for something else (like a going out top or dress something down for the weekend), right?!

Here are a few of our current fave "office wear" styles. We've captioned the photos to tell you how you can wear it another way to get a variety of uses out of it!

This jumpsuit is so versatile (check out our "3 ways to wear it" post on Instagram and Facebook!). You can style it with nude (or black) heels like the photo for work. Or, throw a cardigan or sweater over it. You can dress it down with flats and a jacket for the weekend. Honestly, a cute black jumpsuit is probably one of the most versatile pieces you can own.

We adore the color combo stripes on this button-up shirt dress. Shirt dresses are a classic staple for the office. But this one has a little something extra with a small leather belt (which is removable). But you can do a lot with a shirt dress. Add a jacket or blazer, pair it with booties, throw a cardigan over it, wear it with nude sandals in the summer, or wear it as a cardigan (unbuttoned) over skinny jeans and a short sleeve top. What?!

These dress pants (they are actually the same style in different colors) are the perfect length to pair with everything. And an elastic waist adds bonus points for comfort! Both of these office styles are paired with nude heels, but you can wear the top with a pair of jeans on the weekend. And you can pair the pants with simple tees (long sleeve or short sleeve) and flats, throw a cardigan or jacket on, and run errands on the weekend.

One of our favorite classic looks is this high waist wide leg black pants with the sheer leopard top. The leopard top can be paired with jeans for a fun weekend or night out look, and the pants could be paired with any top as long as the top is tucked in.

What's your favorite office wear style? What do you think you could make the most versatile?

3 Ways to Wear a Jumpsuit

Did you know there are many ways to wear a jumpsuit?

This new black jumpsuit is such a versatile piece! With it's 3/4 sleeves and slimmer fit, it's easy to layer and add jackets and more! Some ideas that we didn't show: add a leather jacket or a denim jacket, wear sandals, add a vest...the options are endless!

Here we showed the jumpsuit looking a little dressy with nude heels. Sometimes basic is all you need. We love the cross front on this one!

Here we added a grey cardigan with leopard trim for colder weather.

Lastly, we added a loose fit sweater over it, so now it looks more like a sweater with black pants.

How awesome that you can wear it so many ways? Always something to consider when investing in a piece of clothing. We can't wait to share more with you! xo
